Add one chopped onion and 2-3 cloves of garlic to a sauce pan with 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil, once the onion softens add one chopped red pepper and sauté' with the onion.

Add one container of chopped calamari or roma tomatoes, one small can of muir  glen organic tomato sauce.

Add fresh chopped basil, thyme, and oregano, Italian seasoning, onion powder and garlic powder, salt and pepper.

Cover with lid and cook on low for 15-20 minutes. if you don't like it chunky,  use immersion blender
