I have worked with Mary since June of 2015. I have been trying to lose weight for 25 years.  To date, I have lost close to 30 pounds and I am positively thrilled.  I couldn’t be happier and I simply could not have done it without her help.  She is my inspiration and my friend in addition to being a great coach.  She never judges me harshly and is always upbeat and kind.  (this is saying something as I am not the easiest person to put up with….).  Apart of the diet, she is always trying to put me in the right mind set.  Mary has lots of ideas to combat different “eating” situations as well as recipes and tips to make life easier as you go through the weight loss challenge.  She is generous in spirit and with her time, and always wants to help. She gives out free samples of products and seasonings so you can figure what works for you and what tastes good to you.  I thank her from the bottom of my heart for restoring in me my pride at the way that I look and feel.  I am healthy and feel good.  Can’t wait to lose another 15 pounds and get to my college weight.  I believe in myself and Mary and know it can be done.

I met Mary Conaway a few years ago. Funny but back then I was her coach. Specifically I coached her in a nutritional program. She was very successful and such a pleasure, that when her program was complete and her goal was attained and maintained; I asked her to work for my company in the same capacity as I, a Wellness Coach.

Her clients loved her and had similar success as she had. But it was not just about the weight loss. Mary had a way to get deep into her clients psyche just because that is what her personality is like. She is your friend, your confidante, your coach. 

Years have passed, we both moved on with our separate careers. But we always kept in touch. When Mary decided to persue her passion for helping people in a capacity that so suited her, I was very supportive. I have since retained her as my "life coach". She has coached me through many things in my life. She never tells me what to do, or how to do it. But she makes me think of the best way that will work for me and my family. Yes, sometimes I dread the weekly phone call, just like I used to dread my daily run; but the thing is that phone call helps me see things clearly, put things in order, set an agenda and a goal for the next week. And just like my run, I always feel so much better and in control of my life when it is complete.

I had been thin all my life and at some point things just changed for me. It was a gradual weight gain but had gotten to the point where I just looked in the mirror and thought-who is that fat person? It’s not me! But it was and I couldn’t deny it any longer. I tried losing the weight on my own for years and it just wasn’t happening. It was really depressing me. And I knew I was drinking more than I should. Life was good but I felt it could be better. I needed a boost and met Mary. I wanted someone that walked the talk and saw how Mary had managed to lose weight, keep it off and somehow still remain cheerful about it all. It wasn’t just the weight lost, although I am absolutely thrilled that I have reached my goal, but the whole emphasis on wellness and taking stock of your life. Mary’s non-judgmental and supportive approach has been just what I needed. I have learned a lot about food choices but these sessions with Mary have been an eye opener. It’s nice to know someone is in your corner.
